No. Autzu does not require a security deposit, registration fee or credit check. Add a valid credit or debit card to your account — it is charged two hours before each booking starts, and you only pay for the time you book.

Most drivers complete the application, get verified and schedule their first booking the same day. Sign-up and ID verification happen entirely in-app — no in-person interview, no waiting period.

You must be 21 years of age or older, hold an approved Uber driver account in good standing, have an active credit or debit card in your name, and a smartphone with the Autzu and Uber Driver apps installed. Toronto drivers must additionally hold a Private Transportation Company (PTC) driver's licence to drive in the City of Toronto.

A valid driver's licence (held for at least one year), government-issued photo ID, proof of an approved Uber driver account, and a valid credit or debit card in your name. Toronto drivers also upload their PTC licence.

Tesla Model 3 rentals start at $7/hour. Pricing can vary by city, car, time of day and how far in advance you book. Unlimited mileage is always included.

Your card is automatically charged two hours before the start of each booking. There are no upfront deposits, registration fees or pre-authorization holds.

No. The hourly rate includes the vehicle, insurance, maintenance, parking at Autzu hubs and unlimited mileage. Drivers are responsible for paid public charging (free supercharging is included at every Autzu hub), tolls, parking tickets and any damage caused during a rental.

From 4 to 16 hours per booking. You can schedule as many back-to-back bookings as you want.

Receipts are emailed automatically at the end of every booking. You can also view past, current and upcoming bookings inside the Autzu app.

Tesla Model 3s are approved for UberX, Uber Comfort, Uber Green and Uber Premier — so you can accept higher-paying trips on the same rental.

Schedule a booking in the Autzu app. At your start time, walk into the assigned hub, find the car shown in your app, tap Unlock, and drive. The Autzu Driver app is the only key you need.

Everything runs through the Autzu Driver app: unlock, lock, start, end the rental, open the trunk, honk and locate the vehicle on a map.

Yes. While you are driving an Autzu vehicle, you can park your personal car in your assigned hub stall at no extra cost.

You can drive anywhere within the country of pickup. Cross-border travel between the US and Canada is not permitted.

Free supercharging is included at every Autzu hub between shifts. On the road, you can use any Tesla Supercharger or public CCS network — those sessions are billed to the driver at standard rates.

Comprehensive insurance (full collision and liability), full maintenance, software updates, tire service, cleaning, roadside assistance, parking at Autzu hubs, unlimited mileage and 24/7 driver support.

Tap the Help button in the Autzu app for 24/7 support. Comprehensive coverage is included. We walk you through the claim and provide a replacement vehicle so you can stay on the road.

Roadside assistance is included. Tap Help in the app or call hub support — we will dispatch a tow or replacement vehicle to keep you on the road.

Drive back to any Autzu hub in the same city, park in any open stall, and tap "End rental" in the app. The car auto-locks behind you.

Yes. Diamond Uber Pro drivers receive Uber’s EV trip bonus when driving an Autzu EV. Amounts and eligibility are set by Uber.

Yes — Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats and Instacart are all permitted. Today only Uber is integrated with the Autzu app; integrations with other platforms are forthcoming. The Uber Zero Emissions bonus only applies to Uber rideshare trips.

Yes. While the vehicle is in your booking window, you can drive it for rideshare, deliveries or personal use.
